Asian German Consultants (AGC) is a small group of competent and fast learning consultants. It has been founded 1994 in Germany by Indonesian and German sociologist, economists and engineers, who gathered together to offer solutions to industrial corporates and international NGO’s, who are moving towards the Asian market.

Actually core competence of AGC consultants was adult education and cross cultural communication, because most of them have been assigned to train international experts for their assignment in Asia. Professional background for most consultants was the training Institute of the German Foundation of International Development (DSE) in Bad Honnef and Berlin, where most GTZ international experts has been trained. Adult educators trained by DSE are specialized in transferring systematically most difficult issues into the heart and mind of practitioners, who have to apply their new knowledge in their practical day to day work. Some of them have been active in this field since 1973.

Since 1988 the fast growing needs of the market focused on the practical results of development projects initiated by the World Bank, but also by other institutions. A new field of activities emerged, the evaluation and monitoring of development projects and at the same time systematics of project planning was a prerequisite to manage sound and successful projects. AGC was since 1988 involved in different forms of project planning, Logical Framework Approach (LFA) , Operational Planning , development of objective verifiable indicators, nowadays subsimized under Project Cycle Management or PCM (ECHO)

In the nineties has been active in the organization and realization of various development co-operation projects and consulting services for private corporations We organized consulting, coaching, evaluation as well as workshops and training for highly qualified experts of European corporate ‘s investing in Asia.
Important contributions to your projects are our consultancies, workshops and trainings, in which we develop guidelines in close co-operation with the participants to enable you to find realistic solutions according to your specific problems.
We have been closely cooperating with well known organizations and private corporate’s in Europe and America (e.g. Lufthansa, Europack, VAW(now ABB), Wacker Siltronics, Fichtner and World Bank)
Our clients get accompanying consulting at the beginning, during the performance of the project and an evaluation at the end of their project.
Now the AGC team is a group of international Consultants with Asian or German and European background, skilled in various fields and ready to support you during the realization of your projects and make them successful.
